Modern Jago makes friends
Modern Jago is Microsoft's new space in Shoreditch for designers, developers and artists. We run and host events and open the space for folks to come down and co-work. Want to find out more about the space? You can have a chat to us on Twitter or Facebook, or find us in a bunch of other places.
So far we’ve had a wide selection of creative minds pass through the front doors of Modern Jago, and some who came through the back – they were a little lost.
But however they found us, they all came armed with inspiring ideas to share, develop and create.
The Modern Jago space itself is a reflection of all this creative energy. In the coming weeks and months we can expect to see more exciting output, in the form of events, exhibitions, meetups, talks – and beautiful Windows 8 apps.
Modern Jago Head Space
One team that’s made their mark on Modern Jago is our friends from Anywhere Working, an initiative established to show how remote working can improve productivity, wellbeing and the environment. They’ve established Head Space, our co-working space, which is now freely available every Monday and Tuesday. Go reserve your slot!
Anywhere Working are currently running their Creativity Month (music to our artistic ears) and, in the spirit of collaboration and learning, are holding an Ignite event next week on creativity in the workplace.
Speakers include the Community Manager for Bet Fair Poker (that’s Greg to you and me), a London Science Museum inventor called Mark and a friendly, uber-talented videographer called Tom – for the full list, check out the Anywhere Working blog.
Ignite Creativity is on Wednesday 31 October at the Big Chill in Kings Cross. The Modern Jago team will be heading along and there’s space for you too. Pick up your free ticket here.
